Last night was the real deal – a full night of clear skies. Seeing varied a bit but the front was not far past yet, so local conditions were still settling out. I spent several hours on the field observing, some of the time with my ED80TCF refractor, some with binoculars, and mostly naked eye. Andromeda Galaxy was easy for me naked eye, so was the Perseus Double Cluster, and I was picking up lots of clusters and faint asterisms.

Folks were busy all over the field working on the observing programs, and wandering around was fun as there were lots of folks inviting others to enjoy the view in their scopes. And some really big scopes out here.

The field shots I got were too far into the twilight for my cell phone camera, but I’ll try to get some in daytime today.
