Since the Milky Way is so evident visually at ESP I thought I would try to capture it with my DSLR. This is my best attempt with Mars sitting right in the middle of the dark rift near the Lagoon Nebula. This image covers all of Sagittarius up into the bottom portion of Aquila. Pluto is also in the field of view and can be found in the raw data, but after re-sizing to post on the forum it gets lost in the noise.
