The observing areas include power for telescopes and equipment, and is organized so that you may drive on-off from the nearby light-shielded parking area at night without impacting the observers on the fields. Please read the Darkout rules!
At ESP 2024 we had 123 attendees enjoying many nights of clear, dark skies
Our presentations were Greg Crinklaw (author SkyTools), speaking on “New Software for Planning EAA (Electronic Assisted Astronomy)”,
Randy Light (astrophotographer, College Station) speaking on Wide Field Astrophotography With a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera”,
Gary Carter (Chairman, SWRAL) speaking on “An Introduction to SWRAL and the Astronomical League”
and a pre-recorded video by Robert Reeves, “Lunar Orbiter Reveals the Moon”
Doorprizes were awarded on Saturday afternoon (must be present to win). Please thank these generous ESP 2024 vendors.
If you are a vendor, find out about donating doorprizes to ESP!
Vendors are welcome to set up adjacent to the observing field and are allowed one sign/banner for advertising.
