FRIDAY FIELD CONDITIONS.
Well Thursday night was washed out as a cold front came in. Temps dropped rapidly as the wind picked up but we got almost no rain in the process. Friday morning rolls in with super blue and clear skies and a chilled wind blowing across the Ranch. Tonight and Saturday night look amazing for more observing! Friday is filled with all kinds of activity for you to enjoy! Today there will be two talks in the main meeting hall of the Lodge. At 2:30pm check out Fritz Kleinhans with his talk “Rocks from Space with Some Hands On. Then at 3:30pm check out Robert Reeves with his talk “Exploring and Understanding the Moon”. There’s still lots of star party left to enjoy!
